Any Video Format Converter Free can use a supported online video URL as an input source. This differs from adding a file that is already on your PC: online input needs an internet connection and depends on the source website remaining compatible.
Use content you own or have permission to download and convert. The app does not bypass protected or login-only media, and a particular website’s compatibility is not guaranteed.
1. Add a Supported Video URL
Open the online-video input in the app and paste the video URL. Let the app inspect the available input options. If the website cannot be read, check the URL and your connection. A change at the source website can also make a previously working link unavailable.
2. Choose the Input Quality
Select an available input quality and add the item to the queue. Input quality describes the media available from the source. It is separate from the format you will choose for your converted output; selecting a larger output resolution does not create missing detail.
3. Choose Your Final Format
Set an output format and preset in the main window, then choose the destination folder. For a broadly compatible playback copy, start with MP4 using H.264 video and AAC audio. Check that you have enough free space for both the downloaded input and converted output.
4. Start Convert
The full media download begins when you choose Convert. The app then converts that input into the selected output format. Keep the internet connection available while the source media is downloading, and review the queue’s status if an item fails.
When a URL Will Not Work
Try a local video file that you are allowed to use, or obtain a copy through the source’s own download option if one is offered. Protected content, sign-in requirements, unavailable media and website changes can prevent online input. Online subtitle services are a separate feature and require the relevant service credentials.
This page keeps the original online-video tutorial address while documenting the current app’s input-and-convert workflow. For videos already on your PC, follow the local conversion guide.
